Year End Reflections

Well this year is nearly over and none of us can belive it. I wish I would have kept up with my blog better and resolve to do so next so stay tuned...

Long Absense

It has been a while... we have been busy painting and landscaping in the back yard. I will post pictures soon. It has been a busy summer. We were Cabo for my cousin's wedding with my whole family and had a wonderful time, it's so rare that we can all be together. Load of laughs and great stories. My job is going well I am looking at getting another promotion and transfering back to Victoria, we shall see, keep your fingers crossed. Jarrod and I are celebrating our 5th Anniversary this weekend.

Jett at the Lake

We took Jett out for a boat ride and to look at all the pretty houses on Lake Tyler. He begged us to stop and let him swim so we pulled up to a dock and let him. Jarrod jumped in with him and Jett took off running on the pier and jumped in. Everybody that knows us knows he LOVES the water. He kept being asked to be thrown in, he likes when we toss him up a little higher than he can jump.

My flower

Jett was in the back yard playing while we were painting the living room. I saw him messing with my flowers and knocked on the window for him to stop it. He looked up and pulled one of the biggest and prettiest up by the root and we watched as he looked at and and tried to pull off the roots. That didn't work so he bit the stem right above the roots and smiled then caming running in Mommy I got flower for you.

No Dirt No Mud

Jarrod and I have been cleaning out the house, EVERY CLOSET, EVERYWHERE so we can finally move our stuff in and build a home. Jett has patiently helped bring trash bag after trash bag to the dump truck, yes dump truck , there is that much trash. We took a quick break and I told him don't get in any mud or dirt. So I go in the house to get a drink and as I come out of the garage Jett says "see Mommy no dirt no mud". As you tell he is covered in dirt and mud but having such a great time who could be mad.

Jett Funny's

This weekend a friend of our asked Jett how many girlfriends he has now. Jett thought for a minute and counted one, two, three. I have three Haley's. We laughed so so hard and Haley being a good sport thought it was funny too.

Yesterday I came home from work and asked Jett how his day was. He said good "I have fun at school" then he showed me his arm that he scraped up this weekend and said I "boke" mom. I boke it like Bub's. My dad, Jett's Bub, broke his arm this February. This is Jett's "broken "arm.

Jett found this bucket while I was watering plants and filled it with COLD water and the rest is history...I used to do the same thing I'm told . We both love COLD water

Winner of the best Present for Jett EVER

Laney sent Jett the coolest toy ever. It is a OLD WEST target practice set(Thanks LANEY) The big orange gun shoots a infrared light at the log that when hit throws the plastic cans in the air. Jett loves and so does Jarrod. The fuuny thing is when you change the TV channel it acts like fun too.

Little boy know-how taught Jett how to do this, he opened the bow and knew just what to do.

Easter Sunday

EASTER was so much fun we had Mime ,Bub and Haley over for mom' s famous chicken nuggets and then had a hunt for Jett. He also decided he NEEDED to ride Ketchum (Haley's Horse). Doesn't everybody hunt Easter Eggs in cowboy boots.

Jett's 3rd Birthday

Everything in Jett world is JOHN DEERE GREEN. He had a John Deere birthday party and a tractor cake made by me, check it out. He had about 10 little boys over and BOY did they every have fun. I even put so much green food coloring in the icing that it turned EVERYTHING GREEN, yes even that. Notice how GREEN Jett's friend Will's teeth are

We finally got one!!!
